I just can't get over the gas tank! It looks like a baseball bat..
You need to see it for real, no baseball bat. Local dealer has a 05 non epa 124 for sale with 1100 miles, pipes and air cleaner mods. It will haul !!!

I have an '08 Texas Chopper.

For some reason the clutch was giving me tendinitis....even though it was hydraulic it was a bear to sit in traffic with.
The clutches in these bikes will make a man out of your right hand. I have a buddy who rides an '07 Heritage Softail, he can't pull my clutch in 10 times before wanting his bike back.

Bad thing is even with all the force to pull the clutch it still would slip.

And that was with a 111. I'd hate to see how bad the 124 would slip.

I haven't had an issues as of yet with mine. I believe AIH changed the clutch set-up over the years, somewhere around '07 I think to try and get less pressure at the bars. May have reduced the number of springs in there too.

I do know, I can't pull mine in with 1 or 2 fingers like on my buds Heritage...takes all 4 fingers.

Mine had a rivera pro diaphragm clutch in it.

I was told they put a lighter spring in it to help with the lever pressure....pressure would be insane with the correct spring in it.

maybe I should have you check mine out then for the "true" effect  , she's a bear!

I've squeazed ALOT of clutches over the years, mine is by far the hardest I've ever pulled.

I always liked the distinctive look of the AIH bikes, especially the Texas Chopper, and AIH paint schemes were 'cutting edge' for their time.
Too bad they went under...:zzdisappointed:
