Big Dog value

I just sold my 05 mastiff to coworker. I paid 13000 for it in 2012 and sold it for 9000. I only had the low price for a coworker. Had I put it on cycle trader it would have been higher. My 2004 HD I paid 22000 with upgrades an sold it for 6500 in 2015. For me Big Dogs have held value better the Harley Davidson motorcycles. Not to say there is any less quality, value etc I like both brands jmo.

Congrats on the sale, you will miss it! Lol.. to me personally there is no comparing a bike that everyone and their mothers have to a Big Dog.. just personal opinion again.. but once you have had one.. you will always have one I think.. ride on brother

If you look on ebay and CL you will see people asking outrageous prices for both bikes. What they ask and what they get are two different things. You've had a few good years of enjoyment so you didn't do so bad. You sold the Harley way too low though...

Can you keep the medallion out of it?

Just out of curiosity, how did you determine that? I didn't see a model that he listed, nor mileage.
You're right But 2000 - 2002 fatboys are selling around here for $8k and 2000 - 2002 Heritages around $7k. The Harleys seem to be keeping their value. $6,400 is a good price for any Harley taken care of after 1999...

Not bad Scott, I sold my 05 Bulldog 4 years ago and got $12,500 for it and it was immaculate, I'd say you did just fine, and so did your co-worker. I am also glad you kept the Mastiff, good choice! :old2:

I have a 2007 Mastiff in very good shape custom red color with small ghost flames. I posted it on cycletrader.com for 14000, lots of views but no sale.
