Big Dog Trans 5 or 6 speed

Thanks fo any help. I have an 01 big dog 107" motor with i think a baker 5 speed, the bike seems geared low, and at 70+ HIGH rpm's it feels like it could use a 6 gear for cruising, or overdrive, i don't want to loose the lowend speed, should i try to trade up to a 6 speed? my bike has 9000 miles and runs like a scolleded dog. Instead of trading transmissions just get a 6spd gearset from Baker and put it in your case.

Thanks, i spoke with a Baker rep. and i can buy that gear for $2400. and some change. i was'nt sure of the price diff, between the 2 trans, i would have to pay someone to install it, thats why i was thinking of maybe a trade. Wallce

I think I would put in a Roadmax gearset 600 bucks all over the internet as there is nothing speacial about the case on an 01 just a simple softail case and they are just as reliable.
