Big dog speedometer

I have just installed a new speedometer to my Mastiff, I thought they were just plug and go, do they need to be set up, it wont work unless I press the trip button with ignition on before I set off, Thanks Ian

That's too bad. I put in a Dakota Digital and only had to set the service miles. Worked great on my trip to and from Austin Tx.

Is it a bdm replacement speedo? Did it come with instructions?

Bevsis, how about an intro first. Then you can start by telling us what year dog you have, then we can go from there. If te dog is an 03 an earlier, I believe tere is a calibration process. You need the manual for that unless someone give it to you from the service manual.
