my lady friend has a '97 harley heritage springer, (o.k. i know this forum is for Big Dogs) i have an '07 K9... she broke her wrist, really bad break, had to have several pins, screws & plates, can't pull in a clutch lever...is there a "soft pull" clutch for her bike? thanks for your consideration ...

I've run a soft pull clutch system for four years now without any problems. The package includes new ball ramp parts, clutch plates/disc (13 stock plates to a new 9 plate system) for around $500. It decreases the clutch lever pull to around half which is very noticable.

I have it for about 2 yrs now and they say it reduces the pull by 25%. I only used the balls and ramp, (you can just purchase these without the clutch pack) I did not change the clutch pack but thats another story to get it adjusted to where its acceptable.

Do a search, this has been discussed here many times.

Order the ramps directly from Baker-I believe around $40-50. Order the clutch pack directly from Energy One (a sponsor that sells them to Baker) for somewhere around $100. I would say a reduction of at least 25% would be about right.

hey EZrider, I think they make a soft pull clutch for your wife's harley. I was checking into it for my harley that I had, which I traded in for my 08 road king, also have a 06 k9. best of both worlds
