These bags will mount on any bike with a strut-mounted fender. The vintage and pro-sport guys might be interested.

Damn those are nice, would love to get a set although I bet they look funny as hell on a chopper I am planning on doing a little more travel riding next year and these would be HUGE - Not sure how the hell they mount up though

Id be almost postive you would need special struts to mount those. Stock struts don't have any extra holes for mounting. Hell stock stocks don't even come with a sissy bar hole.

i guess i say easy cause they were already mounted when i got the bike!!!lol but was told the studs could be set up on most fender struts.

Your removable backrest mounts on the same slotted studs as the bags. That is actually the vintage set-up with updated BD bags. You really need to explain that and photograph the studs after removal so a buyer knows what he needs to mount the bags. I presume you intend to keep the studs to mount the back rest on. The precise diameter of the stud groove is essential to a tight fit.

I found a set of Big Dog Bags last year here in Illinois, used but nice condition, but didn't get quick release stuff with them. Anyone know where to get them at ??

All 05 and newer bikes came with a newer style strut and sissybar mounting system so would think you would be limited to the 04 model only and the 04 Bulldog was a unique beast! I could be wrong though.
