honestly i would put my grand daughters hannah montana knapsack on my back for the ride before mounting them on my bike or paying that price...i could maybe see if they were hard bags and they were paint to match being close to 1500 bucks.....

I've heard the brackets for the K9 bags must be left on and are pretty unsightly, so they're not what I would consider "removable", as in pull off and cruise (like with Harley's Lowrider "Convertible" from a few years back).

They'll appeal to an extremely small 'niche' K9 market with lots of extra cash in their pockets...very rare these days!

IMO, if you want a Big Dog with bags...buy a new Bulldog Bagger.

They will sell only a few of these at this price, it's funny how bike parts are so expensive,
For example,
saddle bags $1,500 Truck tool box $350
Cam for bike $600 Cam for auto $300
2 Wheels for bike $3000 4 wheels for auto $1000
the list goes on but you get the idea,
They would sell more parts if they were priced right.

Not to my liking either. Price seems a little high based on just the basic picture and description, however if the price includes major componets to mount the bags, say similar to the need for struts for the sissy bars on some, it may be priced reasonably.

If it requires new struts, lights relocation, etc.

It is a hard bag with vinyl-so make it a little more durable.

Seems (based on what little info is given) priced in same range as something similar from Motor Company and others.

Also with the limited amount that they anticipate to sell, the price per unit would be higher, much the same as many motorcycle parts are compared to an automobile where a manufacture may only be making a few 100 or less compared to 10's of thousands.

Still not my style, that is what I put a sissy bar on for, so I can be like Ray.

I guess the bright side is that there is some leather handbags that go for even more than these and some guys will even buy their lady such (not me BTW).

The worst crime of it all is having the plate hang off the fender like that. That is just plain wrong. :loony:

No thanks, I would rather tow a small trailer than put them funky things on. Trailer doesn't sound to bad, and probably cheaper

I'm just sayin'... it's a lot cheaper, and IMO no uglier than those saddlebags. Oh, and has 20 cu. ft. of storage space not including the cooler that it can also hold.

Made my own brackets. They attach at the foot peg, fender Strut and the rear blinkers. Bags attach to the brackets via 4 bolts. Plate holder is intregrated into the left side bracket. Very sturdy and very little vibration. Used 1"x 3/16" strap steel and had them powder coated black. :2thumbs:
