Made it back in to country yesterday morning and stopped at my BD dealer. Mainly to BS and to purchase one of the Go Pro Helment Cams. Anyway afterBS with them for awhile, they told me about the newest BDPP retro replacement for the EHC. They said the newsest one that is coming out and that was on the last 2011 before BDM stopped making bikes is pretty nice.
Anyway from what I understand it is a direcgt fit replacment into the exisiting harnes, corrected the issues with the first and no flasher and self canceling and has regular automotive fueses (Blade type).
Looking at one of their 2011 models on the floor, looks to be a little smaller and better built and even has a water proof cover over the fuses. He indicated that the price would be about the same as a WP but without all the work required and no mods to the harness.
Has my interest for sure, has anyone put one of these newest new EHC from Big Dog Performance on their older dogs yet.
If so any feedback would be appreciated. If not may take the plunge and have them order me one for my next home to installand test.
