When I bought my Mastiff, everyone used to think it was a custom so I bought a patch on eBay, one of the bigger ones and had the local shoe repair shop sew it on. No more questions about whether it's a custom or not. Nice that they think it's a custom though.

They don't make this jacket anymore. It did retail for $230. Just the sleeves zip off to create a vest. The leather is just the sleeves which I don't really consider that heavy of a weight.

Definitely time for a new style! Unfortunately, they haven't produced any new apparel for over a year. I always wanted them to make a full leather heavy jacket.

As for me carrying leather...maybe some day....got to be something really nice...I had the hardest time trying to find high quality at an affordable price back when I purchased for a dealership. There is alot of crap leather out there!

I bought the racing jacket a few weeks ago. Has a zip out liner and holds up to the northeast elements. very happy with it. they are a little pricey but this thing will last a long time.

I hope Knotso isn't trying to sell a jacket and this is going in the wrong direction for him. But...the BDM jackets are made by Milwaukee Leather and they have been discontinued. I found the identical jacket on line for a great discontinued price, got myself a Big Dog patch, sewed it on the back and <poof>, got myself a BDM jacket.

Your better off buying a quality leather jacket and having a patch sewn on. Thats what I did. Looks great.
