Here are a few close ups. I think "Dead" called it a "forward control shift linkage boss mount". I don't have a schematic of shifter to verify.

I to hit Bambi with my Roadking at 65mph
Bike had alot of damage $ , I broke my leg and concussion .Thank God for helmets.
Or I probably wouldn't be typing this .
The deer didn't make out so well -RIP.
Used to like seeing them in the yard - now I throw rocks at em .
Glad to hear your healed up and ready to get back on that horse.
I still am very aware at dusk & dawn riding . Seems them criters are moving about more at those times .

good the know you guys are ok and survived the encounters with bambi. I hate bambi---so many around my area since hunting has fallen off due to the development and the anti-hunter sorts.
