Big Dog Mastiff gas tank install?

Hey guy! My name is Eric and I'm new to the group! I am building a 2006 Mastiff clone and I need a little help... I have a 2006 Big Dog Mastiff tank with original mounts and a custom built frame but.... I'm lacking some info to install it. If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it... What I need to know is the distance be tween the front of the seat mount and the center of the rear tank mount hole? I have added a picture of what I need the measurement of. Thanks!

Eric, there is a bracket I hope you have. It's metal with two round bolt holes, and a square hole. Also, on the edge of that metal bracket are two rubber Pads. The square hole is for a socket extension so you can twist and u twist the bracket UNDER the frame. The rubber grommet in your picture slides I to the bottom of the tank before you slide it UP to put that metal/rubber padded bracket in.

In your picture, the arrow pointing to the bracket furthest left is for your seat...the next arrow should be a bolt with a rubber bushing I top of it, that bushing goes to the back of your tank....I don't understand what distance you are referring to.

The picture you put of the front mount... I have the mount I just need to fabricate the piece that goes on the frame between the mount and the frame. Thanks!

Hey mark i got a quick question im trying to get the gas tank off to work on the ignition and am stuck on the bracket and plate and rubber gromets. The two bolts in the picture you took are taken off and the tank slides freely now i just cant get the plate out

The pictures are too dark oh, and my phone is too small to see with your problem is with the plate. But I hope you're not going to install that battery. those batteries are known to short out and Fry the EHC. Put you in a deka battery in it. You can pick one up at the Harley shop.

You need to take a 3/8" rachet and extenstion and turn the bracket. The center bolt can stay on the bracket. ( I think) Just loosen it. And turn it so it is not holding the gas tank. It is hard to move.

Lol no that was a battery my deceased father put in the bike it has sat since 2014 and i am rebuilding it for sale it was a wrong attachment but someone sent a diagram with everything needed. I am going to either buy a dekka braile or duracell battery is there a specific model or just the 20xl ?
