How would I know what level paint I have on my bike...

From the reading of everyone's post, I'm guessing its anywhere between Level I and II...besides calling my dealer, is there any resource I could check? Thanks

BDM website has paint on it ( or did ). Customer Service can use your Project Number to tell.

I always thought the levels were the layers of paint it had:

Level 1 - solid color
Level 2 - solid color with flames
Level 3 - solid color with flames and tribal
etc.
etc.

Could be wrong....but either way. That is one bad ass paint job. That thing looks sweet!! Nice ride

I know mine is the grade 9 paint which is the highest...but then I see paint jobs that look more complex that are graded as level 5...either way, that paint job is sick! It doesn't make any real sense to me either after about level 2...

I believe the level refers to the complexity of the paint job - how hard it is to do. Several paint schemes have changed levels over the years, probably as their graphics artists became better at certain patterns, and developed new ones. It's all top class work, by really talented craftsmen.
