Big Dog K-9 Question

Hi All,

New member here, and figured no better place to ask my question. I'm currently looking at a 2008 K-9 w/EFI my question is, it doesn't have the black factory sticker on the left leg with the tire size, vin , and production date info ect.....yet the seller is the original owner, never wrecked or repainted, were some shipped without this info sticker? Any help/info would help.

You may want to post an intro....That said, I doubt many, if any at all, were ever shipped without a downtube sticker, but many of us removed the stickers for a cleaner look - I kept mine with my manual after removing so your seller may still have it.

Most people take the down tube stickers off, the VIN is stamped on the neck, ask the seller if he still has them, I kept mine with the registration

Thank you for your replies, the seller says he never took it off and that he bought the bike new. I'm just curious if something funny is/was going in, thats all.

I would suggest you get hold of a Manual for your bike.

does he have the original title and run the vin number for any issues. the factorycan't ship a bike without that sticker. I just bought an 07 k9 from the original owner and he had stuck the sticker on the bottom of the seat and forgot about it. it's .it the end if the world, just do your homework, welcome from Va

Welcome and every dog came from the factory with the downtube stickers.

Mine did not have a sticker on the down tube, but it does have 2 stickers on the bottom of the gas tank - and the VIN on the sticker matches the VIN stamped on the frame neck, and also matches the VIN on the title.

Previous owner says he did not remove it, and he bought it with 200 mikes on it.
