What did you use to seal new paint saver to tank?

I was one of the lucky ones...I used the paint saver removal tool, I inserted a screwdriver into the tool for leverage and it popped loose and unscrewed without much effort...I looked and there wasn't any adhesive on the threads, just under the rim of the paint saver...

Perhaps that is why it leaked and bubbled the paint in the first place?...
Was the rubber gasket used? just curious... (works better without it).

And your new Kuryakan flush gas cap looks awesome with Mr. Wright paint saver!
Do you need the Kuryakan Opener Tool to open that gas cap each fill up? _________
