Does anyone know if the factory will be open on Monday, Oct 13th.? I've been have tranny problems for the last 5000 miles, and I'm tired of dealing with it. I'm seriously thinking about having it at the factory door first thing Monday morning. Just don't want to make a wasted trip if they won't be open. Then I just do it Tuesday.

Hey F-Okie! Long time no chat! I'll be moving over there to your town in a few weeks. I bet that Iron Lightening or Thundercycles 405-751-3706 could tell you if they're open Monday. It's Columbus day, but hell, the bank is even open on Monday now! As well as the fact that Monday is known as the international weekly day for bike shops to be closed. :D

F-okie, not to hijack the thread but just wanted to let you know that your bike is in the Nov 2008 American Iron on page 82 in the Rolling Thunder event coverage. Nice pic with the big American Flag waving over it.

How far of a run is it from your place to the factory? Dimenia took his there and they really took care of it.

Should be around three hours, I'm just east of him about 20 minutes and I made it in a little over three hours.

I'll be really surprised if they don't help you. Keep us posted on the progress. If you ever need local work done, I really like the service department in OKC. They are very good and get my bike in immediately and out within a few days always!

Let's keep on this date! We shan't pass it up!

I got it to the factory this morning (Monday), and they knew right off-bearings are going out. They are going to completely rebuild the tranny, and I should have it back by the end of the week.:whoop: :2thumbs: :flag:

Well narow37, I may need you to send me some pics-no one around here has one. I tried the Harley shops, and they didn't seem to know anything.:job:

Update: all the cycle shops here didn't have any bike magazines, but, you'd never guess, I found it at Wal-Mart.

I just wanted to say--Doug Waller, Big Dog Service Manager and his crew did an awesome job on my tranny. They went through it completely and even rebuilt my clutch. They also installed there "easy clutch" (with is totally awesome) all at no charge to me. Again guys-great job-it's never shifted so smooth.:flag: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:
