Big Dog Customer Support!?

I need some help....how do you engage BD Customer Support?

I am having issues with my bike.....major issues with my dealer....and now I feel like I am stuck between a rock a hard place. I can't get help from my dealer...if I push them to hard, I will never get anything done....if I engage BD and they push them....I will never get any support from them again.! I can't believe I have to walk on egg shells to get support on a $30+K motorcycle....I went with BD because of their perceived support of their brand a dealer network.

I live in the Chicago area....not a small town....but as of a year or so ago, the dealer I bought my bike from closed and now there is only one game in town. They are nice guys, but it's a auto repair shop mostly with some bike tucked in a corner...not what I would expect for a major premium brand.

That dealer is not at all convent, they are small....and the support to their customers is not the best. If you have an issue....even if it was there fault or a factory issue...you have to get the bike to them, and that's it. You ask questions about your bike...like "is there a factory override for the air suspension"...and their answer is "I don't know"....ok, well your the dealer, if you don't know, can't you find out.

I am so frustrated at the lack of support for a brand...a brand and a product you pay big bucks for!

I have sent 2 emails to BD from their website....and it has been weeks with no response....love the bike, but right now I am totally pissed about the lack of support!

....thoughts?!:confused:

Finally got an email from BD....with the same response....get it to the dealer and they can help you.

Yes the one dealer that has not raised a finger to help,,,and every time I have them do something, some part of it is done wrong, or something else goes wrong....and now I have have probably pissed them off enough that they could care less about me....and though I live in the nations 3 largest city, they are the only game in town!

Call BD direct and tell them whats up! Sounds like the dealer you have isn't worth worrying about if you piss them off.:hi:

Well I have told the person I am dealing with from Big Dog Customer Service about the dealer and lack of support....but they show no real solution of caring about it. ...what can they say, they have no other dealers in the area....so what can they say?!
