WHere are we on this? Is there going to be an order? Did I miss it? :(

Let me know Plz. and Thanks

Nope, you are fine, everything is still in the planning stages. Airbrush-Ed is going to come up with a design and I'll whip something up for smaller patches, more of the site logo/name.

For me, I like the work edition minus the bike plus dot com for me web exposure. "BIG DOG BIKER.COM"

PITBULL,CHOPPER, WOLF, K-9, MASTIFF, COYOTE, MUTT, BULLDOG etc. just my opinion, I am sure with so many great ideas the finally few that will be voted on may incorporate most of our ideas. No matter; I will be supporting the project.

I'm in for any size (though small and/or a medium would be the preferred options).

Just my .02 -- and flame me if you will guys -- but I think it would be a good option to have one that just reads BigDogBiker or BigDogBiker.com without the pinup girl.

cheers
:iagree:
I would like to see one without the pinup girl as well or at least the option...

A pinup girl also may not "read" well from a distance. Especially if it was small.
I'm sketching out some possible designs now...

Good point. Even if it looks great on paper, the patch will be embroidered.

Just another thought...how about a 3-piece patch, like a MC? With the top rocker being the Big Dog Biker logo about 12" long, the middle being the pin-up girl about 10" tall, and the bottom being where you're from 12" long?
Steve, Your getting on to dangerous grounds with a 3 piece rocker. Depending on the local dominate MC this could get you into a bad situation in a real hurry.:flag:

I'd love to see a nice fat rear tire with BigDogBiker.com under it and a catch phrase above it. You could even encircle it to keep it from looking too much like a MC 3 piece. Keep it simple is my :2cents

I would like to see a semi large patch for the back of Jacket or vest....something like..

"Big Dog Biker" (top rocker)
"Big Dog Pin up girl" (center theme)
"Supporter" (bottom rocker)

There is no way on Earth I'm doing any patch that can be mistaken for a MC patch.

I have to get back to this project soon, after I get the small issues on the site worked out.

Well why cant we have a BDB club and have different chapters? We could have monthly mandatory rides and get togethers. Just sayin. Would we really get messed with? I am not in that arena and never have but why not our own club? Maybe the patch could say riding group as opposed to a club?

Because it's not worth it, seriously. You can do all of that now, without a patch and dues.

Use the forums to set-up rides and get togethers. It's been done in the past for free.

The reason for the patch is to show pride of being a member, not to be a club of any sorts... and to add another cool patch to your vest or jacket.

You guys need to get this 3 piece patch shit outa your minds ! you guys that are suggesting a 3 piece obviously don't have any clue about the 3 piece patch and what comes with it, what Tim is trying to do for us is design a patch to be worn in PRIDE of our bikes & our FORUM that we belong to so for Tims sake we should all try and give constructive ideas for just that.

Yes.... do some research on the 3 piece patch before doing anything like it... you could end up in some unwanted deep shit....

Hey Hollywood, relax. It's all good. Don't need a lesson from you on the 3 piece patch stuff. It's just fine to ask questions. If you don't ask, you don't know. Thanks for playing moderator though.
