Yep Lambo the 100 in engine is a California item. Less than 9/1 compression small cam and E carb. It is built by S&S and shipped to Big Bear to install Carb.

There was article in AIM on the engine build and it was noted that this engine(like ours) had taller than stock cylinders to reduce the compression.

I like my DOG better but the Big Bear is a smooth riding bike.:zz2cents:

Yeah if I ever do a BBC build... I will order my own damn motor! I would probably only do a frame and maybe tins from them. Frame just to have a recordable VIN

I think Gas said we will plan on doing the Full Throttle run in the spring....like maybe in April when the weather breaks.....:up:
the May 31st thing is the Full Throttle open house...

Ok..there is an ongoing thread over on Club Chopper where a guy had his neck pop off his Big Bear frame...he has pics of it and it is obvious by them that the welds were not up to snuff. I knew I read something about it somewhere...just couldn't remember where.
