Power ball with a drill. Aluminum polish of your choice. Shiny 'til it rains again.

Wizards Metal Polish is the best out there. I used the mini Powerball last time and it worked great and took no time at all.

TMB, and I'm a UofM fan in hiding... at least this year. MSU has their shit together and a good team of Jrs and Snrs. Mich's freshman team is getting their asses handed to them. I didn't even watch the versus game this year... I knew it was gonig to be bad.

I Personally use Mothers Brand products here & my favorite drill with the Mothers Polishing ball!

I did the Aluminum polish thing for a year and a half. Now I have chrome and it takes 1/5 the time to clean them. :up: Of course if they flake I'll be wishin' I had went with the polished aluminum finish. :down:

3)lots of different products out there but one i have found works well is Flitz. available at boaters supply.
4) get a mini-powerball by mothers. will make job easier.

Be sure guys to look at the label of what your using to polish your parts on your Dog. I use the Wizards polish and selant because of the lack of ammonia in the polish.

If you are using liquid polishes or pastes, be sure that they do not contain ammonia, anhydrous chemicals, or acids. Ammonia and anhydrous chemicals prematurely age aluminum, cause tarnishing and rampant re-oxidization. These chemicals are used by many manufacturers to attack oxidization and generate follow up sales, as they look great for a week or two, then the ammoniates or anhydrous goes to work and does a wonderful job of fading quite evenly. The trouble is these chemicals continue the oxidization process too, and often etch into the metals - which is even worse. That is why some polish removes the tarnish really, really fast. That doesn't mean the polish is the best it usually means it has a very high content of ammonia!!! Very Bad for the long term look of your polished parts.
