I like low end torque The engine is stock the way they make it it currently has the 585 S&S cam in it. I pull a trailer and have a sidecar on it so the low down grunt is what I want.
TIA

You could maybe try the S&S 520. It closes the intake valve at 40 degrees. The 585 closes at 45, so it will give you a little more bottom end. I wouldn't go with a cam that closes the intake valve earlier than 40 degrees. You will start running into detonation problems. The 520 is considered an EPA cam. It has almost no overlap, so you are going to lose a good bit of top end, but it should give you the grunt that you are looking for.
