Not sure I agree with this list. Kansas #5? Are they kidding? The entire state is flat and every road straight as an arrow. EASY riding, yes...but one of the best?

There isn't just one "top twenty" list because people ride for different reasons so Progressive's list is bullshit!

Some like to get on their scoots and rack up the miles as fast as they can while others just cruise around taking in the scenery. Some like long, smooth, straight, high speed limit roads. Others like a lot of twists and turns.

By the time you throw in all the things that make for a good ride to every rider there must be hundreds of thousands of "top twenty" lists...

The best place to ride is wherever I'm riding at the time. I've been through most of America and every State has it's advantages and disadvantages.

Hahaha! Merging onto the Cross Bronx Expressway back into NYC I actually had to kick a guys passenger door in because he was running me into the wall and didn't give a crap. NYC riding is SICK but it's worth it just for the sounds of straight pipes at redline echoing off those concrete canyon walls. Positively ear shattering!!!

I agree with the above. I also live here in Florida (I have traveled 48 states & Canada) and I think that Florida gets too dam HOT in the summer time ~ to enjoy any daytime riding. Although I get to ride almost 12 months a year, the sumertime heat, gets to be a bit much.....

Kansas...

Being that I'm from KANSAS, I gotta say...#5.... ARE YOU KIDDING ME! :loony:

Yes the Flint Hills are cool. But other than that, this state is FLAT and surrounded by nothing but wheat fields.

And how is Colorado not even on the list...?
I like driving the mountains in a car, let alone a bike!
