lol!! I am using mothers billet and flannel right at this moment!! (per Shannons Instructions) Works great! Just put the first coat of wax on the new paint too. Used flannel to buff it off, no scratches!! This is the first time polish has touched it since the rebuild, it needed it!

I'm also using flannel cloth and mothers polish, & 0000 steel wool for some of the oxidized aluminum. Sometimes my high speed buffing wheel is needed to really make the aluminum like a mirror finish, the elbow just isn't good enough

I've had good luck using a piece of an old Army wool blanket, then going back over it with flannel or an old 100% cotton t-shirt.
Using cloth that has NOT been in the dryer with dryer sheets works best for me. The dryer sheets contain animal fats, and clothts dried with them do not work to polish out very well.

I've been thinking about trying a buffing wheel to get the mirror finish .. I use Blue metal polish it makes aluminum look like chrome finish ..

A mini dremmel with the flex shaft and the tiny buff wheels work for the hard to reach places, just rememeber their little and you will burn down to the arbor real fast if your pushing. Keep it on a low to mid speed, works good on the motor. Mothers billet and Mike The Polishers blue polish is the best ive ever used. Also Dents tip "popsicle sticks" really do help with the fins and the nooks and crannies.

Dent is hands down the best detailier on here. Well him and RC18, they have two of the cleanest bikes ive seen. Send either a pm for any specific tips.

Mothers and purple slice makes an all metal polish. Don’t use it on paint But works amazing on aluminum. I had them detail it out one of their booths and the aluminum turn down almost as bright as chrome
