I was able to get the HID to fit in my wolf, but then the EHC did not like it and wouldn't start. PIAA are good, but I've been using Silverstar cause I can get them at walmart.

Sylvania SilverStar may not be the best but it's near the top. Beware of heavy BLUE TINTED bulbs IMO they are not quality bulbs.

Just don't touch the bulb with your bare hands when installing. The oils off your hands will lessen the bulbs life...Just saying...:2thumbs:

Not the best pic cause it was in my garage

My buds HID setup I installed on his ultra

Jake has them on here. I had the HID with my original bucket but it would not fit in my new Wolf headlight.

No HID will fit in the Wolf headlight no matter what.

Oh, Gas, that HID posted above will run in a Harley any day of the week, but
NOT in a BDM!!!

And a true High and Low HID will not fit in a stock BDM headwinds bucket. Tried!

The BEST H4 Bulb on the market is the PIAA H4 SUPER PLASMA GT-X
Best that money can buy for a 55/65 watt H4

But still doesn't hold a candle to a HID

Not in a BDM? If you say so. I won't argue you on the HID vs BDM topic.

The problem with the bulbs is that if you can get a good deal on a HID it will be cheaper than the BS bulbs.

What part are you guys having trouble with fitting in the headlight? I have an HID kit on my sportster that I lengthened the wires so that nothing was actually in the headlight except the bulb. That is always an option. I plan on going HID in the Chopper as well at some point. You get spoiled by the amount of light for sure.

The high current 20,000+ volt wires coming out of the ballest going to the bulb can not be safely extended. They can arc and cause a fire. 20,000+ volts running under the fuel tank is HIGHLY not recommended.

That is why EVERY SINGLE HID Ballast has 6" wires on them. Do not extend those wires!!!
That is why I sell the setup I do. I even Reyes yo get the manufacturer yo make me speciallized kits with long enough wires to install the ballast under the seat and they said no way!
