Nukeranger, yea, I was concerned about which lift would work best for the extended length of my K-9 (as compared to what HD offers). I looked at several lifts, Complete Hyd, Titan, Handy, Redline...all seemed capable given the right options. The Handy brand is a nice lift, extending it though, began to get rather pricey...in addition to the side extensions for a 4wheeler.
Anyhow, in measuring my K-9 from the front edge of the front tire to the axel of the rear tire, I'm seeing 96". The rep from Redline and I chatted the length of the table extensively, he declared their product would work for my application...should find out tomorrow I'm sure.

I got the Eazy rizer also... it is the best and safest I have seen out there.

Nothing wrong with that set up Steve!!!:up:I got the chopper lift for my K9 and added the Condor Wheel Chock. Put the bike up on the lift last night to tear it down for some winter mods. Here are a couple pics, ignore the mess and look at the lift.

This is an old lift. Thin, short, no front wheel clamp. Look for the gray color type lifts with this style, but it is more stout for heavy harleys. This one has to have the bike centered or the lift's base plate that the bike sits on, leans over and arch's the plate some. But center it, she's fine.
With the gray ones, they are air assist, not foot crank like mine. The base plate material is thicker, as is everything down to keep that much plate from flexing. Those are more your processional lifts I'm used to. This one cost me I forget how much, but it has to be at least 36 years old. The o-rings blew out and it's hard to find o-rings. So it leaks when it's being pumped up. It drops soon and won't hold like it used to.
With the air assist type, you can stop the air and she is sealed that way. And I'm saying, when you use the lift, you can drop or raise it for certain jobs. That's another plus using a full lift. And if you have ATC type bikes, then the extenders out for the wide wheel base is another plus for parts/tools/other stuff being used as a bench with all that extra square feet of the lift.
So bottom line, if I were to do it all over again? > Air lift - ATC wide - Heavy gauge plate material - center wheel chuck. Hope that helps.

SWEET!!!!! Thanks Sven..hey if you ever take apart Pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder on that thing..send me specs on seals and and cylinder bore diameter and piston head...I will FIND you a seal and piston rebuild kit..I rebuild Hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders all the frickin time...have access to THOUSANDS of different seal kits and specs......Ok..I will help ya out.....I'am not sure what kinda lift I will get yet..

I use Eagle lifts in my shop with the side extensions. Best I have found for the money. Plus they are located here in NC so I can get parts etc easy.

I bought this Kendal Chopper Lift when I had no room for a lift and it turns out its very versatile , I'm always finding new uses for it and it takes up little room . I picked this Polaris beast up on Craigslist on Monday put it up to service it on Sunday back up on the wall Sunday night! I love this lift! All the bikes find sometime on this lift ... My back gets saved from stooping over all the time ... The ATV was a after thought but heck it works and well!!!

Just picked up this lift called"The Complete Motorcycle Lift" for $400 on craigslist and is practically new. Its weight capacity is 1500 lbs and comes with an optional extension making the length 110 inches. I dont have mine extended all the way but you can see it fits perfect. Its operated by air and is very smooth up and down. The table itself is very sturdy in all heights and the front wheel clamp is sturdy too. I can ride the bike onto the lift, get off while holding the the handlebar and tighten the wheel clamp with no problems. It also has the drop out for rear wheel changes. The only complaint is the bottom of the frame scrapes the ramp unless I put boards under it. The company does however have an extended ramp made for low choppers on thier website along with side extensions that slide right onto the table. Even comes with a low profile scissor jack. Havent had the table but a week but have had several different bikes on it and I have no complaints. Thier website is below if interested.
