Battery is not something you want to cheap out on. I think there are more bad battery related posts on this site than any other single topic (well maybe next to ehc's)Just do a search for " best battery" and you'll see what the best choices are. You'll save yourself a lot of headaches if you bite the bullet and drop the $150 or so it takes to get a good one.

in my opinion, it's a toss-up between the braille and the tamioka. i have a braille and am very happy with it but others sing the praises of the tamioka. i have no experience with it though. i believe it was five-five that found it first.

Battery

:flag:I have a Extreme Magna Power, Power Sports Battery (AGM) that I bought for $99 bucks. It spins my 2009 EFI K-9 over better than any battery I have had on it. I have only had it for 6 months and keep it on a battery tender. The number for my battery is ETX20L. I don't know if it will fit your chopper. it has two bolt holes in each solid battery posts which I really like for hooking up accessorie wires etc. Was told it was the same as a harley battery without the name or price. Hope this helps. Good Luck:2thumbs:

I got a Braille B2015 for my K9 @ 142.00 shipped from autoanything.com using the promo code: EMR137P
They currently show product unavailable. Summit Racing has them for 159.00
Others really like Tomioka racing b1500 battery.

I've had a Tomioka for about a year and it really spins the starter over (107 with no compression releases). I think it is the best out there right now. Had a Big Boar for about 3 years and it did a good job also, just not quite as many amps.
