Best aftermarket starters

Just pulled the starter out of my 04 Ridgeback completely dead. Looking to replace with something much beefier. Any suggestions?

It sounds like your starter clutch has gone bad. these can be replaced inside the starter..... Personally, The 2.0 kw starter I bought from Shovelhead kicker (aka Donna) on ebay fires up my 04 Mastiff Immediately and seems easy on the battery. My compression releases also are in good working order.

I use Ultima starters as well. At the same time, if a starter clutch goes bad, on most after market and Harley Davidson starters, I use ZEN made in Brazil. Pt. # 222-52022 starter clutches. You'll also need to buy 2 bearings for it.
