since my compensator is bad and I cant seem to find a replacement I am considering going to a belt drive and wonder what your experiences are with the various kinds. This is for a left side drive so Baker is out and Karata is way to expensive if they even make one to fit it.

You can get a compensator from J&P Cycle..... BDPP has em too.

no you cant they were imported that year and jp has no compensator with that much offset. the shaft nut is smaller on the import so you cant mix and match Bob does not have any either

I bought a Baker and have been very happy with it.

I have the compensator I took off my '09 K-9, there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, I just wanted a belt drive. I don't know if it will work on your Ridgeback, let me know if you are interested in it.

thanks bowhunter but I doubt the offset is correct since yours is a rt hand drive. unfortunatly Baker does not make one for left hand drive. I am probably looking at BDL or Rivera Primo.

I got a 3" primo Rivera. No problems for 8 years so far. Did replace clutch pack though last year

I'm interested in the outcome of a sprocket.

But regarding Belt Drives....Ultima is pretty popular for the LSD models and it will run you around $800-1000
