Belt Drive Options

Energy One
Just purchased a 2008 Big Dog K9 and am looking to buy an open belt drive kit for it. The bike has the 300 rear tire with the right side drive. Im looking to see if anyone has any ideas on different brands that will fit?

Baker makes their synchronous belt drive system that is one of the best you can buy. Comes with a 5 yr warranty and looks great on the bike. Only 2.4" wide belt, so it doesn't hang off the side of the bike a foot like some of the others. Big Dog Belt Drive | Baker Drivetrain
Will fit 2005 and up Big dogs. Retailing for just over $3200.

If you go Baker let me know and I can help you out. They are currently running 5-6 weeks out on them as of last week.

The belt drives with no support bracket in the middle, do they have any tendencies to start pulling inward towards one another from the tension of the belt?

Jesus Paul, you use that thing for a treadmill or what

Go big or go home!!! Karata on the pitbull already looking at one for the BBC. I only rode the pitt for a short time after getting it all back together but have to say I am impressed with KARATA drives and the clutch pack they use. Only drawback was I almost lost my jeans riding it the first time. may look to get a half cover to save my leg.

Looking forward to retirement
I have the BDL open Primary with the centrifical ball bearings. The harder you romp on the throttle with the clutch released, the harder the balls force the clutch pack together. I also went with a 2.5'' belt. My heal nor my parts ever hit the front pully or belt. It works great with my 107S&S motor!
