Looking for an inner primary for an 05 Mastiff. The DSSC trans with the 250 rear tire. Mine works fine I am looking for one with peeling chrome, even broken as long the hole spacing for the motor and trans mounts are good.
Why you ask? I am going to try to make a motor plate to use for a open belt drive hopefully using a Karata set up.
I may make a one piece plate or possibly a 2 piece motor plate like Primo makes for the HD.
I am not in a big hurry as I will be moving my shop and machinery this summer, and will hopefully get around to finishing the building of a CNC mill project, if not I will use my manual mill.
I would probably not get to do any real work until the fall/winter. If successful I would probably make a few, I would like to actually get hands on to see if I could use the stock starter and placement/location with the Karata hub. At this point just a project in planning, I am sure there would be some interest if I am successful.
Any input from the group is appreciated.
