Bearing Replacement?

My father had a small motorcycle shop change the tire on his '06 K-9. The tire shop scratched his wheel. Well, the shop made well and bought a new wheel. Here's my question. What would you guys do about the bearings? My dad's bike has about 7,000 miles on it, and they're not sure what the new wheel has on it. Should we just use the ones that were on dad's, or just new bearings?
Thanks guys!

You may be surprised at what you find when you take the wheel apart. They are cheap so replace them.

There won't be a better time to change them than now. They are cheap and the old ones will probably get damaged, swaping from one wheel to the other.

Just replaced the tire on my K-9. It had 7,500 miles on it and the brake side bearing was shot. The 2 on the trans side could have gone a few more miles but not a whole lot.

Used SKF's from NAPA.

:2thumbs: Change them mine failed out in sturgis last year and had been checked and i was told they were good to go, cheap insurance!
