The “big news” from Big Dog Motorcycles for 2009 was the redesigned WOLF.

Couldn’t get a lot of information out of the reps at the show. Not making much effort in promoting the bike. So this is what I could get from them.

The bike features a 121 CU XWedge engine and the prototype was EFI. Single downtube, new headlight, 220 rear were some of the items mentioned. Also a 20" wheel on the front was looking pretty good.

They did say at this point that the bike is not planned on having integrated receivers for a sissy bar. If you look at the pictures, the seat is pretty set (recessed) into the fender. Over all it looks pretty cool for a prosport style.

Also asked about the Chopper and they said there were no plans to bring it back since the K-9 has replaced it.

How long do ya think that paint is going to hold up where your thighs rub?? Like the look of the recessed seat, but I don't think its going to work...

Nice looking bike but agree with the others, paint rub and a small tire would be an issue. Is this the real deal or a one up custom?

The rear tire ruins it for me. Should have put a 330 on it, or at least a 300.

Thanks for the info Nelson. have to agree with everyones points. Mainly the rear tire, just doesn't have that ass end appeal. The tank is the same as the Pitbull isn't it.

I like the conformal tin work. .I don't got the urge to run out and buy one though.

Gotta say that my first impression was not liking it as much .. but it has some cool lines. Not sure that I like the new headlight though. (even though it works with that style)

I like the way it flows, maybe a different color scheme, it comes with a 121XWedge motor that should be fun to ride! they should make carburetion an option to upgrade to XXX.

definately not the production wolf imo.
I bet there'll be some refinements before the official release.

Not a bad effort, though - needs a 300 - strange looking headlight, but probably pretty effective.

Notice the rear struts have no visible through-bolts - nice clean look.

Swooping swing arm looks a bit like the Big Bears.

Good looking ride.
We have all wondered where the big tire craze will lead, hope this is not it.

I am liking the colors and paint.

Ya gotta admit, BDM is stirring things up and keeping things interesting. Each ride will not be the same as the next.

I love BDM for staying on the cutting edge and giving us options.
