BDM Saddlebags

I have two pairs of BDM logo'd saddlebags. The non-studded set came with my 2000 Bulldog; I believe they were purchased by the original owner with the bike. The studded set I happened to see offered on ebay years ago and grabbed them; they were the set I used.
The non-studded set includes the quick detach hardware for bags and bike. The studded set will require sourcing HD quick detach hardware for the bike; the sets are usually around $25.
Prices are asking/OBO plus shipping to the cont US; prefer no shipping outside the US unless you have a transfer service with a US address.

Studded set: $175
Non-studded set: $200

Well, maybe if you soak those studded bags in water long enough to expand the leather they won't look too bad. Back then 8 was in Wisconsin and had stored my bike in the AZ sun under a tarp for almost a year. I considered them beyond recovery at the time but that's because I have never been able to make that soak 'em n a tub thing work!

Big Dog Rick, what hard bags will fit those studs on the Vintage? I have a Vintage Sport and have thought about putting hard bags on it, but didn’t know what would cross reference to them. New to this

Really, any aftermarket bag has a chance of fitting if you have the mounting hardware off of an old BDM saddlebag kit. I do not know of an aftermarket mounting bracket that fits the BDM studs. However, since the patent passed for BDM, there re many mounting bracket systems that rely essentially on the same method by providing their own studs. The required spacing can be adapted to the strut on your bike in nearly any position as they are simply through-bolted to the inside of the fender through the strut. I am currently mocking up a new set of bugs by using the paper templates Leather Works sent me for three of their bags. I intend to transfer the BDM brackets to the one I choose and mount them on my BDM studs. I think I have one more life out of them before they're too worn to be useful. If I was already at the point of needing to replace my BDM system with an aftermarket, i would probably use their system.

here's a link to their website And one of the bags that could work for me. I will be buying new saddlebags, windshield bag, tool, roll bag, and maybe even a luggage rack bag from them once I sort out the paper templates. I prefer extra large bags as I th8nk they actually look better and provide obvious enhanced utility for the kind of riding I do.
