I read a the other day about Bob Lockwood and how he was getting a rough deal regarding some service issues.

I have spent over two weeks chasing up an order, how difficult is it to communicate with your customers.

first I get nothing no replies, then I get a reply saying they are waiting for a batt charger and t shirt to arrive ( why take my money if u don't have the goods don't sell them)
so I wait, then I get a refund for the t shirt, but I still don't know if its despatched or are they waiting for the charger, or maybe something else, I phone them no sense, the web site says awaiting despatch, I mail bob again and now he has sent it on to apparel dept, I think for such a small company they should be able to deal with it straight away. no wonder they are the remains of a sad failure if this is how they operate.

bottom line I've paid they at least owe me detailed feedback on my order and its status.

I'm not touching this...*runs in the other direction* LOL, just making fun of myself...

I have personally gotten great service from them, but to be fair, that doesn't mean other people don't have bad experiences. I just suggest that you call their main line and ask to speak to whoever is in charge of apparel about the T-shirt and if you paid through pay pal, you can follow up with Pay Pal about not receiving your battery charger yet, if BDM isn't responding to you. I'm confused, though, if you received a refund on the T-shirt, why do still expect to receive it? Good luck, hopefully they will address your issues for you.

Ah Maybe didn't explain myself, I was just a bit

I ordered a cap, charger, t shirt, service manual and owners manual about 280$ in total so ok Im not expecting the t shirt but I have no idea were the rest of it is either, one guy said it was dispatched, then bob mailed and said it was being held back because of the t shirt ( after the refund) they are well confusing..

Well, honestly, I would be confused, too. If the one person says it has been dispatched, get a tracking number from him. I do know that if someone purchases multiple items from me and pays one shipping fee, none of the items will be shipped until all items are in and then they will all be shipped at the same time in the same box if possible. If the T-shirt is on backorder, that may be why you have nothing yet. That's just how our company works, though. Sorry, wish I could help.

I'm just curious, why do you guys continue to fuck with Big Dog? They are out of business, and BDPP is just a front to clear out old inventory. That in itself is plain as day considering the ridiculous lead times on in-demand parts. Cut the lines and let them sink, there are plenty of aftermarket alternatives.

I ordered a bracket from BDPP online and got absolutely no feedback as far as emails saying it was shipped or when to expect it, however, the part did arrive at my house in about 5 days.

I noticed when I order online I get info of what was ordered and tracking but if you call it in on phone nothing given and then in a few days the item shows up? I have not had bad service but they need to be consistant online or phone service.

Well it gets worse, hounded bob all day and guess what nothing sent, but he said they sent an invoice yesterday which I didn't get by the way, requesting a further 60 for shipping, so I asked " hey I paid shipping once, no reply ,,,,so I said ok enough is enough I want my money back. No reply.... But I got a refund.
wow do they know about the economy, they must be soo busy, cos they had no time to provide a service.

I recently ordered an idle cable from Bikers Dreams of Atlanta but they didn't have one in stock so they ordered from BDPP. I made sure to specify it was for an EFI model. Paid $72.00 and it arrived. As soon as I opened the box I knew it was the wrong one. Tried it on but it was obviously the wrong cable. Called Bikers Dreams and Lannie remembers me specifying for an EFI as he personally made the order. Long story longer, he called back to BDPP and they fessed up to the mistake, but wouldn't you know it the correct cable will be an extra $15. Yeah sure. I wonder also who is working at BDPP. Next time I am going straight to Barnett. Oh and by the way my local Harley Davidson dealer who is a barnett cable dealer took one look at it and said no. It wasn't one of their cables and had no interest even attempting to help me. Either way as petty as this is, it's worth the aggravation to have such a bad ass bike............for now atleast.

I order on line and always get my parts. I have never called or spoke with either of the two employees at BDPP. I know I know I should not give them the time of the day because BDM shut down and they are lonely trying to get rid of the inventory. Well my inventory is good with, cable, turn signal LED boards, hand control switches, clear lenses, bearings, axles just a few things to keep the dog alive for the next few years, being that I am 65 and don't plan on riding on two wheels past 75    . If you can't get a part from them is because I have it  .

I have also always received my parts but like others the communications and status is lacking big time.:bang: I will be weening myself off.:(

Is there anyway you could buy all their spare parts and we buy from you. That way we get better communications and status on orders. Additionally, they could downsize to one employee.:)
