BDM Performance Parts

Thought I'd check out BDM Preformance Parts to see how far the site has come since my last vist. Well, site still sucks, half the shit is out of stock, most of the pics not loaded, don't really see them making much effort to make the site a go to place for parts.
Just sayin, it's been months. If they were serious, it seems they would be a little farther along on the site.:down:

Yep, it kinda sucks. I do gotta say though I like gettin e-mails from them, at least for the apparel and shit. It's kind of like they are making an attempt. Wish it would take off and be a dependable place for parts and apparel..

IMO they probally only have SO many parts,and the real aim here was to unload them parts and be done....Think about it...why would anyone own and distribute parts for motorcycles that are no longer being made??If you take your heart outta the equation as for your love of these bikes,it would be a dumb buisness move......
But then again...just my opinion..

I have to agree they suck ..They do appear to be clearing out left over stock!!!!!!!!!!

Took over 2 weeks to get a new front end that was "in stock".

I ordered half dozen items. One front turn signal housing out of stock on back order. Bob said its just one person that is putting the site together. I would think that a team (5-10) could have the site nearly complete.

Well....my experience has been so-so. I have ordered a few things and always received them. My beef is when you put something in your cart and head to checkout that something changes. I tried to buy a outter headlight ring and two rubber rings at the same time. I could not for the life of me get both to stay in the cart at checkout. Ended with just the outter headlight ring. And paid $10.00 for shipping and handling for a piece that weighed about 6 oz. Then I had to go back on the site and get the rubber gasket things and pay shipping again! Boy only in America.

Just ordered a rear brake line and a oil line from Bob....got um' in 3 days...
but did have the same problem with the web site!!

Their site seems to be all flash and no content. And, the little bit of "stock" they do have is at the same pricing level that put them out of business in the first place! :down:

You also have to wonder why there are a couple of vendors on ebay that consistently have a better selection of "genuine" Big Dog parts than BDM does?
