Just one more reason why we all need to be working together to find replacements and get off the BD "fix" a lot of us seem to be looking for constantly i.e. the "Wire Plus" system.
Dead, I did several searches but couldn't find anything definitive about the VR and what will replace the BD version. Any input?

The Amazing part is that they have dumped all their inventory for pennies on the dollar too, espeacialy the properitary stuff,dont make much sense.
As far as the voltage regulator its just a standard Compufire nothing proprietary there learned that when I did the three phase upgrade.

My bike has been in the shop for about 3 weeks now. It is just sitting there waiting on parts from BDM. Most notably waiting for a new EHC. The bike is still under warranty so I thought rather than go with the WP kit, I would just let them replace it. I feel extremely bad for anybody purchasing one new that might need some warranty work that requires parts. I'm trying my best to be patient but I'm missing some of the best riding days right now.

Believe me, it is soooo frustrating. '04 EHCs are on b.o. until Labor day and '05-'08 EHCs are on b.o. until August 4th. I've got a bike in here now needing one. I just used the last one we had in stock last week so now I am on a hunt calling other dealers to see if anyone has one to sell me..wish me luck.
On another note-Vettehog-I heard that FWHD isn't a BDM dealer anymore. Matter of fact I heard it from them cuz they are sending extended warranty jobs my way...just an FYI

Feel your pain bro....3 1/2 weeks no ehc. F*ck it. Big Dog "customer support" won't even call me back. WOW probably because I left a message stating what my problem was!!! I love my PIT but this bullshit has to end. "oh your ehc has the same serial number as the recalled ones but its not the same color.???!!! WTF?!!!!!! I'm calling racial profiling on EHC's!!!!!

thats what I ment... I know thay make em for bdm. but I tried gettin 1 from my dealer... we decided if bdm cant get em go to the source..but I only need 1 for a back up... mine inst broke as of now...Your cable is a Barnett!!!
Oh, my spare that I just broke in Bakersfield, CA is at Barnett now getting re-strung. Should have it back this week. Great company. Guess BDM packaging takes more time!thats what I ment...
