That sucks. Nick was good people. A little slow on responses like you said, but took care of the customers!Just heard yesterday that Nick who was the manager of the paint operation was let go. We got a VERY fast response on a paint question though ... faster than normal from before.
Lot of knowlege lost there. yeah .. you had to beat on him a bit ... but hell ... he's a biker :up:That sucks. Nick was good people. A little slow on responses like you said, but took care of the customers!
This brings up a good point. Over the long haul, the consumer who buys a stock HD and adds pieces and parts so that he can say he has a custom, will have more in that bike than a BDM that leaves the floor that way.lets face it 35k plus bikes are a luxury. i would think a smaller company with more options is the way to go, kinda of more custom. there will always be a certian amount of people that have extra cash ,,,so going more custom i believe is the way to go.
Look at the prices of the 09 CVO harleys. The road king MSRP $34 large:loony:This brings up a good point. Over the long haul, the consumer who buys a stock HD and adds pieces and parts so that he can say he has a custom, will have more in that bike than a BDM that leaves the floor that way.
Plus the customer who buys a BDM is able to finance that amount over an extended amount of time. The guy who buys the HD has to make a payment and drop big $'s from his paycheck to add the accessories.
BDM could easily change their marketing approach. We all like MILF's who show us their boobs but I will be damned if I pay that kind of money on a "cool factor". Go back to basics and appeal to simple logic.
No Muslim Obama:down:No, McBush in the white house..

Guess that explains why nobody is answering my e-mail...Big Dog Motorcycles is laying off 49 employees over the next 60 days as sales have continued to fall from their 2004 peak.
The company is laying off 22 employees, mostly production workers, today and 27, mostly office workers, in 60 days.
No offense Bro................. But is anybody really considering voting for this f**K!!!!!!!!!!!Guess that explains why nobody is answering my e-mail...
