NOT a good thing to have your first post on here be to try to sell us something. we don't like that much. try doing an introduction, if you plan on staying around, and let us have some info about you and get to know you. otherwise, you will be banned for not treating us well.

Well like I told Tim I'm not familiar with message boards. I was just killing some time while he looks in to a matter of importance to me. I figured maybe someone who valued customs items not sold to the public might be interested. No disrespect to any of you, I can assure you that. I don't plan to become an active and participating member and my hands are tied so to speak.. My apologies!

Thank you! Truth be told if I never saw another Big Dog is be happy!! HAHA! My husbands name is Dave Siggins, he worked at Big Dog for 15 years and then was President at BDM. Life was great and then BOOM! They closed without so much as a minutes notice. That was positively devastating. We literally almost lost everything and there was zero severance or "zero apology pay for ruining your life" and with two middle school boys it was beyond awful. I know lots of people lose jobs and we are no different but his love and diligence for that place made it that much worse. He had devoted himself entirely to Big Dog. He lived, ate, and breathed Big Dog. It makes me very proud that he was so dedicated to the Big Dog family.. He actually started a small business immediately afterward because his loyalties were with the bike owners and he couldn't fathom leaving them high and dry without parts and tech support. He would put what little cash we had in to the biz if that shows you his level of dedication to the BDM family. I just can't get passed the fact he literally bled that place and he was treated so poorly at the end. Any reminder of that chapter of our lives brings back a plethora of ill emotions. HAHA!!! So long story still long Hopefully that explains a little on why i said what I did about sticking around. It wasn't meant disrespectfully at all. I just distance myself. So that's a little about me! You probably wish you hadn't asked, right!! Laughing....

I always knew there were folks working there that had a passion for these hunks of metal. God bless your family and good luck in the future.

not to downplay how you feel, i have had the same thing happen on more than several occasions. it is certainly not what a person that dedicates themselves to a company wants to happen. i wish all the very best to you and your family with the hope that everything turns out great in the future. and, at some point, you are able to release the frustrations that get in the way of your happiness. and anytime you feel you need to vent, or just talk, we are here. damn, wasn't meanin' to sound like Dr. Phil. :flush:
