BDM coil cover options!

Love the dual coil look....any advice on correct parts . Possibly black contrast type for my le K9

Go to VulcanMotorworks.com You can order the whole kit - In black also. Top motormount is part number 3141 and the coils you want is part number 4239 3OHM. The coil cover comes in black but can't read my part number but website is easy to navigate. Then go to sumax.com to order spark plug wires at your correct length. i got the taylor thundervolt 8.2 - or pm me with any questions

You can buy all 3 pieces as a kit also
1. top motor mount (includes 1" spacer)
2. Coils
3. Coil cover

I think there is a wiring schematic on here somewhere. Not to difficult. You just need to add one wire as a jumper between the 2 coils. I can look at my colored wires and tell you which wire should go where when your ready

I saw some threads where fit up required some fabbing...and looks like the stock key doesn't fit........has any of this been fixed for a direct bolt up...might order for my final weekend project.

no fabbing required - Key fits - just make sure you buy the coil cover with the ignition hole in the front

That thread was precisely why I was throwing out these questions Franco....sounds like using the stock frame bracket eliminates some hassle
and a new key switch comes with the kit....I emailed them for Big Dog specifics anyway and a black mini switch would be cool..

I bought this kit with start button and key hole- it is awesome. Was actually less expensive to just buy the front plate and two coils. it will bolt up to any heavy duty top motor mount bracket that has the two typical horizontal bolt holes on the front. I did not need the spacer so did not order it. I'd post pics, but my dog is presently in pieces undergoing an engine rebuild.

btw any 3/4" ignition switch will fit the hole in the bracket, including the BDM key switch. be advised the start button hole comes threaded and it is designed to fit their specific start button switch (which I also ordered, it is good quality), and I think it is like 10mm. The start button just screws in from the back, nice clean design. use locktight on the threads.
