Nope it will have that Fugly V Twin they crank out I bet!!:down:It would be interesting if they did... a much large and better dealer network vice the handful of quality BDM dealerships they had and the rest that ranged from crappy to adequate. If they left BDM's true to there form, S&S, Baker, PM, etc... I'd be all for it.
I don't see it... they could build a chopper if they wanted to with their entire drivetrain, why would they buy BDM just to add their motor?Nope it will have that Fugly V Twin they crank out I bet!!
Why would they buy BDM at all? Put Ski's on a chopper? Fn Klondyk's!!I don't see it... they could build a chopper if they wanted to with their entire drivetrain, why would they buy BDM just to add their motor?
I definitely would like the bigger dealer network idea, but that's a big "IF" thinking they'd leave BDM "true to their form".It would be interesting if they did... a much large and better dealer network vice the handful of quality BDM dealerships they had and the rest that ranged from crappy to adequate. If they left BDM's true to there form, S&S, Baker, PM, etc... I'd be all for it.

:iagree:..but that's a big "IF"....If they can keep the "spirit" and production of the BDM line the same...
Ditto!!It would be interesting if they did... a much large and better dealer network vice the handful of quality BDM dealerships they had and the rest that ranged from crappy to adequate. If they left BDM's true to there form, S&S, Baker, PM, etc... I'd be all for it.
Just texted the General Manager for the local Polaris dealer and he replied no purchase of BDM, just Indian.I was at a HD show and shine today and a guy there said that Polaris Industries which builds Victory motorcycles bought out BDM. He even commented that BDM was in Whicita Kansas. Not sure if they bought from the bank or what. Has anybody else heard anything out there?
