Should I have gotten more than a year out of a battery?
Went to start the bike this morning, barely cranked. Pulled the seat and tried again. I could hear a little boil so I am sure it is done.
Normal riding. Mostly highway to and from work. Some bar hopping (multi starts).

Not sure of the size. Went to Big Dog of Cols and told them what I had and they sold me a battery.

Low Down Chop Shop
Compu-Fire told me last week that a 270 cca battery is not enough for our starters draw. They said I needed at least a 300 cca. I have gone through 2 interstates. Compu-Fire told me that the Interstates CCA rating is over rated and they are closer to the 270 mark.
Pick up a 350 cca Big boar battery!! I found alot of positive feedback on the web about them and my cousin has been using and selling them for years through his shop.

If your going to buy an Interstate, Go buy the Yuasa battery instead. Yuasa makes all the Interstate batteries and the Interstate version says it has the same specs, but it doesn't. I have done A LOT of battery research in the last 3 weeks so I could get the best battery I could for when I get this bike of mine all rewired.

Great info but can not find any local dealers. I am an impatient fucker when it comes to the bike.
Might as well have punched me in the fuckin eye this morning when I went to leave for work and NO cranky! :bang:
