battery tie down

could someone tell me if the battery on 2004 mastiff should by tied down with something? there is padding on the bottom and the left and right sides of the box but nothing in the front or back. the battery cables are protecting the back. thanks

Should have a rubber strap that looks something like this across the top from front of bat to back of bat. Not to sure on the 04 but I know the 06 I have has one

Thanks Little-Boo and Brew for the pictures. There is a hook on the front side of the battery to hook the strap to but I can't find a hook on the back side. There is only enough room for my battery in the box. All the wires in front of the battery in Brew's picture are mounted on an indentation on the rear fender.
