The battery is packed in there so tight, I don't think you need one.

When I first got the Pit it did not have a strap. Battery would vibrate enough that the ehc would come loose. Put a strap on it, and it never moved the ehc plug again.

The straps are standard 10 1/2" ....they fit all big dog except the 2009 up wolfs...Donna has them for 14.99...

I cut up an old wet suit an wrapped battery in neoprene rubber. Dampened all vibration.

Cut up an old inner tube and layer it. Use goop glue to the sides of the bag. Rubber and metal make a good bond with goop glue. I glued a metal rod to the aluminum head for a camera mount. Heat did not weaken the glue so I'll assume the hot oil bag would almost act the same as the the hot head. Racing wise, a few zip-ties holds up to this kind of punishment. That's about as fancy a battery hold down strap as it gets.

Mouse pads are great vibration dampeners and usually you can find them for free. I have a couple that are about a 1/8th inch thick and work great.
