battery question

I got a Braille racing bat so i can put my new lowrider seat pan on. It says its a 10 amp 210 cca 527 pca bat. it seems to not have the power of my old bat. Is this enough bat for my bike?

im having problems finding a good bat thats small enough to make this seat pan work.

i think big boar makes a small battery,may have to drop down the battery box,just a thought

ya i have been thinking of droping it a inch or so but dont wanna unless i have to. I have to get my seat pan out to Seatmaker in a week or so cause Daytona is getting close so i got to figure it out this week. I will check on Big Boar though thanks

Here is the Battery I got and it's a kick ass Battery. Fits perfect no adjustment to anything,
just bolt it on and you're good to go.

I would say if you are going to use that little battery rated at 210 CCA then you are sacrificing starting reliability for cosmetic reasons.

You should show us a picture of the seat pan so we know what you are describing. Does the pan sit inside the frame rails? Seems you would have plenty of room as many members here have installed these type pans without problems like your describing.

My seat pan is a Instapan seat pan and it is flat across the top of my frame and there is about 5.5 inches of height thats why i got a braille because it is only 4.25 high. Maybe i need to lay a bigger braille bat on its back then i think i can go to about 5.5 high bat if its on its back. I will get off my lazy ass and upload a pic in 5 mins.

dog was 45 days parked in cold weather (due to fuckin EHC :angry no tender also, and when I changed it, Dog started at the first time!!!
VROOOM VROOOOOM.

have been using these for the last 2 dogs, no prob at all!!!

If those big ass posts are your concern them remove them and use the side mounts. Looks like you have plenty of room. Seat pan doesn't have to be sunken down inside the frame rails.



But I would still get the bigger battery that Little Boo and Chihuahuabigdog posted to prevent starter, battery and electrical issues.

I put the posts on the top just for charging they will go on the side when i am done with everything.

Like i said i got them on top just for charging it up not for everyday use. The bat needs to be under the frame rails i am thinking of going with a lithium bat if i cant get a bat from braille to fit in there.

i talked to my friend today that had issues with clearance and it was the big boar battery that he used,he said its supposed to be the smallest with the most cca.he didnt remember the exact but its over 300cca,good luck
