battery question

I was working on the bike yesterday making sure that there were no loose cables. I had the bike on without the seat and noticed that the battery shakes alot when the engine is running. is this normal?? the battery was strapped down.

I guess I should have read the thread vibrations.. i'll check my motor mount and see about tuning the engine.. I answer my on question.

Not exactly.... If the battery is bouncing around you could put something down beside it to wedge it tighter ot under the strap to hold it tighter!

You need to pull the battery out and replace or add to the pad at the bottom.

yep...you can buy that foam padding for the battery tray also....I have the foam padding on the bottom..side against the tray and the top....battery should be stable...not flopping around.

I put padding under and behind it to keep her nice and tight. I even put a padded strip under the strap and put a new Braille Bat made for racing in it so i should be good for awhile.
