I wish I had more money.
Funny you should mention those two batteries. I've had this bike for six years and those are the only two batteries I've had. I replaced the Yusa on a whim because I thought it may have been causing my issues at the time. Turned out otherwise. I guess I got lucky twice now!

So far the best out there is big boar 350ca $199-$265.Now I have kinetic batteries made. They are 850 cranking amps and $75-$95 less than them.So far I cant kill them $135 free ship

DONT BUY HARLEY OR YUASA.Not made for BIG motors and starters used on them.To much drain.

These companies were cheap and used hi gear starters that kill batteries and hard to turn over when cold.

The best starters are compufire and use 1/2-1/3 the juice to kick.Plus you can turn over 10 times before battery drained.

08 K-9 still with factory battery kept on tender ..... Although it does seem to be getting weak.
If it seems like it is weak, do a battery test. My Braille CCA are around 700! You can still use your factory battery for a spare generator if you have one. I think everyone in Louisiana has one!

Makes sense that an 07 or 08 original battery is starting to get weak. Harder and harder starts are a good indication.

Just replaced my factory battery over the weekend. Lasted almost 5 years....not too shabby. I always have it on a battery tender when not in use though.

I have a 07 K9 and still running with the original battery (5 years old) but I am thinking of buying a Braille as I may be running on borrowed time.
