It wasn´t me.... I did post about a "Hydro" process.... let me find it....

Definitely doable, although there are some really cheap versions you need to steer clear of. You definitely want to use an electroplating process. There are some non-electroplated chrome processes that claim to be as good, but won't hold up against weather.
