bought a big boar battery and when replacing I seem to have forgotten how many connections the old battery had ... I find four negative (black) and three positive (red) connections? I assumed I would have equal connections ... have looked but can't locate a fourth negative wire I may have missed? Thanks for any input

My 05 has three negatives (-) and four positives (+). One on each side is the battery tender.
I can post a pic of the manual if you need.

LittleE, here is a pic of mine. I looked in the manual at the schematic but it only shows the (+) and (-) connections.

So, here in my pic same 05 as you. You should have your two heavy power cables.
Then I have a (-) and (+) smaller wire that I believe come from the VR (someone can correct me on this). Then I have a (-) and (+) for the battery tender. That is three a side. The other (+) heavy wire is the fuse or CB wire.

Hope this helps!
