I am at the the mercy of any technical god!

First I need a new high compresion type battery, I'm sure I'll have to special order it. Can anyone give me a web site or a guide where to go for this certian battery.

Secondly I have a fork leg that was royaly fuck up by a guy with far less exprerience than me. When I went to replace the leaking seal I noticed the internal threads were screwed. There are four drill holes into the threads that makes it leak like a pornstar. My big qestion for this is has anyone heard of these threads being this screwed up and fixed. Or should I just bite the bullet and go buy another one.

:bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

Not sure what bolt you mean??? the bottom bolt that holds the inner to the outer? I found the left fork tube worn.... so i just replaced it only ran $55.00.

As far as a battery .. AGM from the local HD dealer..

Bear: Im not sure what you are saying about the holes but if its what I think you are saying some people drill holes in the threads of the front forks to let the water drain out where it holds water in there like a cup.But it is usally just one hole in the rear.I'm thinking of doing it also.

I thank you all for your replies. When I get a chance I show you what I'm talking about with the threads I'm sure many bike enthusiest will be mortified by what some shade-tree mechanic did. I'll check out those batteries. WORD.

Is it the holes that attach the fender to the lower fork legs. If that is what you are referring to it wouldappear that someone went to crazy with a tapp and went through the wall of the lower leg.
