I own a 08 mutt and I'm sick of looking at the 2-1 pipes, found a set of Bassani sweepers that are ssupposed to fit RSD bikes. Unfortunately I have my top end torn down so I can't fit them right now. I got them for a good price, can't find much info on them except for a few pictures. Wondering if anyone is running tthese, I see a posting about someone who had fitment issues hitting the motor?? Seems like it might get tight on my cam chest Cover (s&s chrome aftermarket Cover). I've been llooking for a couple years for a set of pipes that will fit hopefully I don't have issues mounting them

Damn those are pretty sweet looking.... nice lines, see why they are called sweepers.

Yes it is them, funny because that's about the only thing I can find on them is that photo and some guy that had them on a 04 bulldog. They seem to be quality pipes, just not sure how the will fit.

The guy with the 04 was me,lol ,the only thing u might have to do is grind the heat shield on the front one "might" my were a tight fit also the right passenger peg has to be removed cuz the pipes sit high,but they sound and look good,did they come with a mounting bracket?if not pm me i sold the bike to my buddy,I can take some pics of how it's mounted.

Haha awesome man, glad you found this thread! Yes it came in the original box with all the hardware and bracket. They didn't come with hest shields though.. And yes I already took the passenger peg off

If u got no heat shields,u should have no issue with the install,since they are what sometimes rubs and once u take the foot peg off what I did was just made a bracket that bolts to the foot peg whole and the pipes,here is a close up pic of how it's bolted on at the back
