Bandit Clutch Spring Shims?

Installing my bandit clutch today. Curious how many with a bandit clutch have used any of the spring shims? I realize this is a fine tune adjustment based on weight/style etc and would be different for each rider. Just curious what others have used or if most have just installed straight up with no shims?

There are a few threads on this subject! Might want to perform a search, but from what I've read in the past, most are using at least one shim

I installed my Bandit with one shim and have had no problems.
I weigh 300lbs am running a 124 @ 132hp and ride fairly hard.

Ah yes, how quickly I forget. I'm usually good about doing that first. Sorry for the redundancy. Thanks for the info.

I too have a Bandit Bruiser and I`m running a single shim for each spring.

I just recieved my BANDIT in the box from UPS on wednesday,upon talking to John from Bandit he told me for my application,which is basically stock except for pipes and air cleaner I should put 2 shims in......

Mimi, that is what they told me too.... But mine is impossible to ride in the city traffic. I'm going to one shim like Curtis. I'm about 2 pounds lighter than Curtis so it should work....lol. Eith
